Tuesday, 21 February 2023 BPS-Statistics of Pringsewu Regency held a FGD for Pringsewu Regency in Figures 2023. Held at Hotel Urban Style, Pringsewu, this event was attended by the Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD) of Pringsewu Regency and other agencies within the Pringsewu Regency who act as data producers.
The event was opened by the Assistant for Economic Affairs and Development for Pringsewu Regency, Drs. Masykur, M.M representing the Acting Regent of Pringsewu. In his remarks he said that the development is started from the planning stage. "Failing to plan means we are planning to fail," said Masykur. For that good planning must be supported with quality data. "Data in Pringsewu Regency must be one, no data reported to the Regent is different from what was given to BPS or to other parties," he added.
The event continued with an expose on the results of the SP2020 Longform submitted by Resty Sopiyono, SST, M.EKK, a young expert statistician from BPS Pringsewu Regency. Longform SP2020 produces basic population indicators, namely birth indicators, death indicators, and population mobility/migration indicators.
The Head of the Pringsewu Regency Bappeda, Akhmad Fadoli, M.Sc, presented material entitled The Urgency of the One Data Forum in Regional Development Planning. It was revealed that the District Head's Decree on the Pringsewu Regency One Data Forum had been established and became the zero point of the integrated data management process in Pringsewu Regency and clear division of tasks.
Then the discussion continued in the form of commissions guided by young expert statisticians from BPS Pringsewu Regency, aiming to discuss the data to be published in Pringsewu Regency in Figures 2023 and to confirm deficiencies or irregularities in the data provided.
