The National Socio–Economic Survey 2024 in Pringsewu Regency

Gading Rejo – Monday (19/2) the enumeration of the first semester of the National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas) was carried out simultaneously throughout Indonesia. The first semester of Susenas which is usually held in March every year, this time the implementation was accelerated due to the month of Ramadan in March this year. This is so that people's consumption patterns captured in Susenas do not shift due to the month of Ramadan. The household enumeration is targeted to be completed by March 9, 2024.

The first semester of 2024 Susenas in Pringsewu Regency was carried out on 700 panel households who were also sampled at the 2023 Susenas. The enumeration of this panel sample is intended to be able to compare the same variables at different times so as to expand the resulting analysis.

Some of the indicators produced include welfare indicators (HDI and Gini Ratio), housing indicators (main drinking water sources, sanitation), education indicators (pure participation rate, and education level of the population), health indicators (morbidity rate, smoking prevalence), and people's consumption patterns. It is hoped that the data from Susenas can be used as material for evaluation and development planning in Pringsewu Regency for the Regional Government of Pringsewu Regency and for the people of Pringsewu generally.
