Online Village Potential Data Collection Officer (PODES) Training

Please note, Village Potential (PODES) is the only complete village-level data collection carried out by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). PODES 2024 will produce data for regional development purposes, knowing the availability of infrastructure/facilities and regional potential, as well as socio-economic conditions in each village/sub-district.

The 2024 PODES area coverage will be implemented in all government administrative areas at village level including Villages, Subdistricts, Nagari, Transmigration Settlement Units (UPT), and Transmigration Settlement Units (SPT) which are still being developed by the relevant ministries throughout Indonesia. In Pringsewu Regency there are 131 villages/sub-districts whose government administration has been recorded with a total of 9 sub-districts.

Active participation from local governments, both at village/kelurahan, sub-district and district/city levels, will be very necessary in the 2024 Podes data collection process. This participation will make the 2024 Podes data more valid and useful for development.
