Working Visit of Members of the Indonesian House of Representatives for Lampung I Electoral District

Pringsewu - BPS-Statistic Pringsewu Regency received a working visit from a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives from Electoral District Lampung I, Dr. H. Al Muzammil Yusuf, M.Si, (12/19/2024). His visit was in his capacity as a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Legislation Body in connection with the revision of Law Number 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics. This visit was in order to listen to the aspirations of BPS Pringsewu Regency employees in carrying out their duties of collecting and providing statistical data and conducting sectoral statistical guidance. It is hoped that aspirations from below can help formulate a statistics law that strengthens the position of BPS but also strengthens the National Statistics System as a whole.

Also present during this visit were members of the Pringsewu Regency DPRD elected for 2024-2029, Mr. Homsi Watsobir, S.T., and Mr. M. Triaksono, SP. Hopefully this visit can strengthen the use of statistical data by members of parliament in carrying out their legislative and supervisory functions in the implementation of development in the Pringsewu Regency area in particular.
