BPS-Statistics Pringsewu Regency equips Enumerators of Producer Price Survey

Pringsewu (13/1) – BPS-Statistics of Pringsewu Regency held a Briefing for enumerators for the 2025 Producer Price Survey (SHP). This activity took place in the hall of BPS-Statistics Pringsewu Regency and was led by the Head of the BPS Distribution Statistics Team of Pringsewu Regency, Fithriyah, SST.

The Producer Price Survey (SHP) is one of the important surveys carried out by BPS routinely every month to obtain producer price data. The data obtained through the SHP is very vital, one of which is used to calculate the Producer Price Index (IHP) which is a measure of price developments at the first level of the trade chain, namely producers. In addition, the IHP is used as a deflator of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and economic indicators.

In general, this activity aims to provide provisions to field officers regarding the concept, definition, and methodology for implementing the 2025 SHP. It is hoped that with this briefing, field officers can carry out their duties better and more professionally.

With this step, BPS Pringsewu Regency shows its commitment to producing higher quality statistical data, which not only supports development at the regional level, but also plays a role in strengthening the national economy. (ARF)
