Training for National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) Officers – February 2025

Pringsewu (January 22) –  BPS - Statistics of Pringsewu Regency held training for officers of the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) for February 2025. The training was attended by 10 participants, 2 instructors, and 1 organizer. It was officially opened by the Head of BPS Pringsewu Regency, Eko Purnomo, SST., MM., and took place at the BPS Pringsewu Hall on January 22-23, 2025.

This training is part of the preparations for the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas), which BPS regularly conducts across Indonesia. Sakernas is a survey designed to collect labor market data.

The training used a blended learning approach, combining three days of online sessions (January 17, 20, and 21) with face-to-face sessions on January 22-23 at the BPS Pringsewu Hall.

In his speech, the Head of BPS Pringsewu, Eko Purnomo, SST., MM., emphasized the importance of staying focused during the training. He explained that the success of Sakernas depends not only on the survey method but also on the professionalism of field officers in collecting data.

"I hope all participants pay close attention to the training materials so they can understand the basic concepts, definitions, and procedures for data collection. The data from this survey is very important, not just for statistics but also for planning and policymaking," said Eko Purnomo.

BPS Pringsewu hopes that after this training, Sakernas field officers can work professionally and follow the correct procedures. This will ensure accurate data that supports national development policies and helps improve the labor sector. (~RFJ)
