Pringsewu (2/5)—In an effort to improve synergy and coordination in the implementation of statistical activities at the regional level, the BPS-Statistics of Pringsewu Regency held an official audience with the Regent of Pringsewu, Mr. H. Riyanto Pamungkas.
This activity is part of BPS's initiative to strengthen collaboration with local governments in order to provide accurate, up-to-date, and relevant statistical data as a basis for formulating public policies and development planning and evaluation. In this warm and productive audience, BPS conveyed a number of important points related to work programs, the direction of sectoral statistical development, and joint strategies in supporting One Data Indonesia.
The Head of BPS-Statistics Pringsewu Regency, Eko Purnomo, SST., M.M., said that active involvement of local governments is very necessary to support the collection of statistical data, especially in census and survey activities in the field.
"We hope that through this meeting, the synergy between BPS and the Pringsewu Regency Government will be even more solid. With valid and integrated data, regional development can be more targeted, transparent, and measurable," said Eko Purnomo in his speech.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Pringsewu appreciated BPS's proactive steps in coordinating with the regional government. He expressed his commitment to fully support statistical activities carried out by BPS, as part of a joint effort to realize development based on data and facts.
This audience is also a momentum to strengthen the role of BPS as the main data provider that supports the implementation of strategic regional policies, as well as an important partner in development that is oriented towards improving community welfare. (~RFJ)
