Abstract

In October 2017, Bandar Lampung City experienced inflation of 0.11 percent due to an increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 130.28 in September 2017 to 130.42 in October 2017. Three expenditure groups contributed to the formation of inflation in Bandar Lampung City, namely the food group contributed to the formation of inflation of 0.10 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel groups at 0.05 percent; and Transport, Communications & Financial Services Group by 0.01 percent. In contrast, two expenditure groups contributed to the formation of deflation, namely finished food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.03 percent; and the health group by 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, clothing groups and education, recreation and sports groups do not contribute to the formation of inflation or deflation
