Lampung, July 2020 Inflation of 0.31 percent

July 2020, Lampung's CPI experienced an increase in index from 104.83 in June 2020 to 105.16 in July 2020, thus inflation of 0.31 percent occurred.

Based on the calculation of calendar year inflation (point to point) in July 2020 experiencing inflation of 0.85 percent, while inflation year-on-year (yoy) in July 2020 against July 2019 was 1.33 percent.

Of the eleven expenditure groups, six expenditure groups experienced inflation, namely the health group by 1.06 percent; transportation group 0.74 percent; household appliances, equipment and routine maintenance 0.64 percent; food, beverage and tobacco group 0.55 percent; food and beverage / restaurant supply group 0.03 percent; and personal care and other services 0.01 percent. In contrast, the information, communication and financial services group experienced deflation (a decrease in the index by 0.09 percent); recreation, sports, and culture group 0.02 percent; and housing, electricity, gas and fuel 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, the clothing and footwear group and the education group did not experience changes in the index.

Of the two monitoring cities in Lampung in July 2020, all experienced inflation. Bandar Lampung City experienced inflation of 0.33 percent, and Metro City of 0.11 percent.
