Abstract

The rice harvest area in 2022 will reach around 518.26 thousand hectares, an increase of 28.68 thousand hectares or 5.86 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2021 which was 489.57 thousand hectares.

Rice production in 2022 is 2.69 million tons of GKG, an increase of 202.71 thousand tons or 8.16 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which was 2.49 million tons of GKG.

Rice production in 2022 for food consumption for the population will reach 1.55 million tons, an increase of 116.53 thousand tons or 8.16 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which was 1.43 million tons.
