Abstract

The number of labor force based on the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) in February 2024 was 5,044.04 thousand people, an increase of 40.90 thousand people compared to February 2023. The Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK) fell by 0.56 percentage points.

The working population is 4,836.33 thousand people, an increase of 42.30 thousand people from February 2023. The jobs that absorb the most workers are Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries at 46.19 percent.

A total of 1,329.91 thousand people (27.50 percent) worked in formal activities, an increase of 2.39 percentage points compared to February 2023.

The percentage of underemployed rose by 3.06 percentage points, while part-time workers fell by 2.90 percentage points compared to February 2023.

The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) for February 2024 was 4.12 percent, down by 0.06 percentage points compared to February 2023.
