The top ten main export commodity groups of Lampung Province in April 2024 are fats and oils of animal/vegetable origin; mineral fuels; wood pulp; processed vegetables, fruits, and nuts; coffee, tea, spices; food industry residues and by-products; various chemical products; fish, crustaceans, and mollusks; rubber and rubber goods; and wood and wood products.
The primary destination countries for Lampung Province's exports in April 2024 were the United States, India, Italy, China, Pakistan, the Netherlands, Spain, Vietnam, South Korea, and Malaysia.
Export by sector for the past month showed a decrease in the manufacturing sector by 12.09 percent, a decrease in the mining and other sectors by 23.62 percent, and a decrease in the agricultural sector by 27.2 percent.
The import value of Lampung Province in April 2024 reached US$238.22 million, experiencing a decrease of US$93.59 million or 28.21 percent compared to March 2024, which was recorded at US$331.81 million. The import value in April 2024 increased by US$108.53 million or 83.68 percent compared to April 2023, which was recorded at US$129.69 million.
The main supplier countries of imported goods to Lampung Province in April 2024 were Brazil with US$102.65 million; Nigeria with US$77.56 million; Australia with US$19.48 million; Vietnam with US$10.29 million; Thailand with US$9.06 million; China with US$7.7 million; Uzbekistan with US$4.29 million; the United States with US$3.77 million; Malaysia with US$0.51 million; and New Zealand with US$0.45 million.
The import value in April 2024 compared to March 2024 increased by 2.67 percent for consumer goods and increased by 247.95 percent for capital goods, while raw materials/auxiliaries decreased by 30.63 percent.
