Abstract

The increase in Lampung's 2024 HDI occurred in all dimensions, including longevity and healthy living, knowledge, and decent living standards.

The life expectancy of babies born in 2024 is 74.39 years, an increase of 0.22 years compared to those born in the previous year.

In the knowledge dimension, the Expected Years of Schooling (HLS) of the 7-year-old population in 2024 increased by 0.01 years compared to the previous year, from 12.77 years to 12.78 years. Meanwhile, the Average Length of Schooling (RLS) of the population aged 25 years and over increased by 0.07 years, from 8.29 years to 8.36 years in 2024.

The dimension of decent living standards measured based on the average real expenditure per capita per year (adjusted) in 2024 increased by 489 thousand rupiah or 4.54 percent compared to the previous year.
