Abstract

The percentage of poor people in September 2024 was 10.62 percent, down 0.07 percentage points compared to March 2024 and down 0.49 percentage points compared to March 2023. The number of poor people in September 2024 was 939.30 thousand people, down 1.9 thousand people compared to March 2024 and down 31.37 thousand people compared to March 2023. The percentage of urban poor people in September 2024 was 7.91 percent, down 0.27 percent compared to March 2024. Meanwhile, the percentage of rural poor people in September 2024 was 12.04 percent, up 0.07 percent compared to March 2024.
