Lampung Province's Economy to Grow 4.57 Percent in 2024

Abstract

The economy of Lampung Province in 2024, measured based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices, reached IDR483,882.92 billion and at constant 2010 prices reached IDR281,557.20 billion.

The economy of Lampung Province in 2024 grew by 4.57 percent, stronger than in 2023 which grew by 4.55 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the Other Services business sector which grew by 10.63 percent. In terms of expenditure, the Export of Goods and Services Component experienced the highest growth of 12.15 percent.

The economy of Lampung Province in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the fourth quarter of 2023 (y-on-y) experienced a growth of 5.32 percent. In terms of production, the Manufacturing Industry business sector experienced the highest growth of 14.16 percent. In terms of expenditure, the Export of Goods and Services Component experienced the highest growth of 12.31 percent.

Lampung Province's economy in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the third quarter of 2024 (q-to-q) contracted by 3.52 percent. From the production side, the business sector that experienced the deepest contraction was Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries by 14.80 percent. From the expenditure side, the contraction occurred in the Export of Goods and Services Component by 3.58 percent.
