Susenas Field Officer Training, March 2021

Susenas (National Socio-Economic Survey) is Indonesia's main support in terms of our needs for strategic SDGs data and our socio-economic data. Susenas questions form the backbone of the SDGs, RPJMN, Nawacita indicators, and people's welfare. Data and indicators from Susenas have been widely used and are seen as one important piece of evidence that can be useful for planning, monitoring and evaluating government development programs. Information from Susenas is very important for sustainable development.

To support the implementation of the field in order to produce good and valid data, the field officers who will carry out this activity must have good quality and ability to carry out this survey. For this reason, BPS Pringsewu District held a training activity for Susenas field officers in March 2021 on February 17-18, 2021. With current conditions, where the Covid-19 pandemic is still spreading, for the first time BPS has conducted training on this activity online. By taking advantage of current advances in technology and sufficient availability of internet networks, this training can be carried out.

This training was opened directly by the Head of BPS Pringsewu Regency, Eddy Prayitno, S.Si, M.Si. The number of officers who participated in the training was 53 with two instructors, Ir. Sudarti and M. Zaenuri.
