The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is a social statistical activity that is routinely carried out every semester, namely March and September. This year, BPS Pringsewu Regency will continue to carry out Susenas activities in March 2021 even though the Covid-19 pandemic is still not over.
The survey, nicknamed "The Mother of Survey", has become an important benchmark for various development indicators, because the data generated is the main reference for Indonesia in terms of strategic data needs for SDGs and our socioeconomic data. The Susenas questions form the backbone of the SDGs, RPJMN, Nawacita indicators, and people's welfare indicators. Data and indicators from Susenas have been widely used and are seen as one of the important pieces of evidence that can be useful for planning, monitoring and evaluating government development programs.
Susenas data is also used to provide a portrait of development progress in the socio-economic sector at the national, provincial and district / city levels.
In this activity, there are 70 census blocks spread across all districts and a sample of 700 households was selected.
