Supervision of Paddy Survey Subround I 2024

Gadingrejo - In order to monitor the quality of paddy data, the Head of BPS Pringsewu District, Eko Purnomo SST, MM, and his team conducted supervision of paddy survey implementation in Gadingrejo Subdistrict on April 25, 2024.

The Paddy Survey aims to obtain productivity figures of paddy per hectare. Other information collected includes the coordinates of paddy fields, planting methods, planting systems, fertilizer usage, pest and disease control measures, and various other supporting information.

Here are the steps in conducting the paddy survey: The first step in implementing the paddy survey is to determine the observation point plot of paddy fields in the KSA (Sample Area Framework) that are already in the harvesting phase. Next, measure the land using regular steps in the directions of West-East and North-South. Then, input the number of regular steps into the application to obtain a randomly selected number, which will determine the point for conducting the survey. Once the point is determined, proceed to set up the survey tool with dimensions of 2.5 m x 2.5 m and harvest the paddy within that plot. The final step is to weigh the clean paddy after removing impurities.
