Head of Central Statistics Agency inaugurated by President Prabowo Subianto

Pringsewu - President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti as Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) at the State Palace, Wednesday (19/2/2025). President Prabowo also inaugurated Sonny Harry Budiutomo Harmadi as deputy head of BPS. The inauguration of both was based on Presidential Decree Number 28 P of 2025 concerning the appointment of the head and deputy head of the central statistics agency.

Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti previously served as Acting Head of BPS since the previous Head of BPS Margo Yuwono, was inaugurated as the Main Expert Widyaiswara in the East Java Provincial Government in mid-2023. Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti is the second woman to serve as Head of BPS since Sudarti Soerbakti in 2000-2004.

BPS Pringsewu Regency congratulates the inauguration of Mrs. Amalia and Mr. Sonny as Head and Deputy Head of BPS RI. Hopefully it can bring BPS RI to play a greater role in national development and become a world-class national statistics office.
