Abstract

March 2020, Lampung Combined CPI experienced an index decline from 105.64 in February 2020 to 105.26 in March 2020, thus deflation occurred by 0.35 percent.

Based on the calculation of calendar year inflation (point to point) March 2020 experienced inflation of 0.95 percent, while year on year (yoy) inflation in March 2020 against March 2019 was 3.22 percent.

Of the eleven expenditure groups, five expenditure groups experienced deflation, namely the information, communication and financial services category of deflation of 1.86 percent; food, beverage and tobacco group 0.91 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance 0.13 percent; transportation group 0.12 percent; and the recreational, sports, and cultural group 0.05 percent. In contrast, four expenditure groups experienced inflation, namely the health group by 0.17 percent; the personal care group and other services 0.10 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels group 0.09 percent; and the food, beverage / restaurant supply group 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, the clothing and footwear group; and the education group did not experience changes in the index.
