Development Of Consumer Price / Inflation Price Index 2020 Deflation Of 0.17 Percent

April 2020, Lampung Combined CPI experienced a decline in the index from 105.26 in March 2020 to 105.08 in April 2020, thus deflation occurred by 0.17 percent.

Based on the calculation of calendar year inflation (point to point) April 2020 experienced inflation of 0.77 percent, while inflation year-on-year (yoy) April 2020 against April 2019 was 2.60 percent.

Of the eleven expenditure groups, five expenditure groups experienced deflation, namely the information, communication and financial services group of deflation of 1.95 percent; transportation group 0.31 percent; food, beverage and tobacco group 0.25 percent; health group 0.03 percent; and the recreational, sports, and cultural group 0.02 percent. In contrast, the personal care and other services group experienced inflation of 0.37 percent; and household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance 0.21 percent. Meanwhile, the other four expenditure groups did not experience changes in the index.
