Abstract

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 6.42 percent; clothing and footwear group by 1.34 percent; health group at 0.74 percent; transportation group by 1.54 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 0.43 percent; education group by 1.20 percent; and the food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 1.09 percent. Meanwhile, the groups that experienced a decline in the index were:; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 1.28 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 2.21 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 1.49 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 0.26 percent.
