February 2024 Mesuji Regency inflation Year on Year (y-o-y) of 4.19 percent

Abstract

In February 2024, there will be year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Mesuji Regency of 4.19 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 109.51.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases indicated by an increase in all expenditure group indexes, namely: food, beverages and tobacco groups by 6.93 percent; clothing and footwear group by 4.54 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups at 1.96 percent; health group by 8.55 percent; transportation group by 0.06 percent; leisure, sports and cultural groups at 1.92 percent; Education group of 0.64 percent, food and beverage/restaurant supply group by 13.65 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 2.84 percent. Furthermore, there were two groups that experienced y-on-y deflation, namely the household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group by 0.69 percent and the information, communication and financial services group by 0.38 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate of Mesuji Regency in February 2024 are 0.25 percent and 0.28 percent, respectively.
