Abstract

In 2023, the rice harvest area is estimated at 532.77 thousand hectares with rice production of around 2.73 million tons of milled dry grain (GKG).

If converted into rice for food consumption by the population, rice production in 2023 is estimated at 1.57 million tons.

The rice harvest area in 2023 is estimated to be around 532.77 thousand hectares, an increase of 14.52 thousand hectares or 2.80 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2022 which was 518.26 thousand hectares.

Rice production in 2023 is estimated at 2.73 million tons of GKG, an increase of 40.62 thousand tons of GKG or 1.51 percent compared to rice production in 2022 which was 2.69 million tons of GKG.

Rice production in 2023 for food consumption for the population is estimated to be around 1.57 million tons, an increase of 23.35 thousand tons or 1.51 percent compared to rice production in 2022 which was 1.55 million tons.
