Pringsewu (17/1) – BPS-Statistics Pringsewu Regency held the March 2025 National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) Field Enumerator Training Batch I. The training activity, which was attended by 43 participants, 2 instructors, was opened by the Head of BPS-Statistics Pringsewu Regency, Eko Purnomo, SST., MM., which took place at the Urban Pringsewu Hotel on January 17, 2025.
This training is part of a series of preparations for the implementation of the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) which is routinely conducted by BPS throughout Indonesia. Susenas itself is an important survey that aims to collect data on the social and economic conditions of the population, which will later be used for various development policies at the national and regional levels.
This training was carried out using a blended learning method, consisting of online distance learning for three days (January 14-16) and continued with direct face-to-face learning on January 17 at the Urban Pringsewu Hotel.
In his direction, the Head of BPS Pringsewu Regency, Eko Purnomo, SST., MM., emphasized the importance of the seriousness and focus of participants in following the entire series of training. He reminded that the success of the implementation of Susenas does not only depend on the methodology used, but also on the professionalism of field officers in conducting data collection.
"I hope that all training participants can follow the material presented carefully, so that they can understand the basic concepts, definitions, and procedures in data collection. The data produced from this National Socio-Economic Survey is very important, not only for statistical needs, but also for data-based development planning and policies," said Eko Purnomo in his remarks.
BPS Pringsewu Regency hopes that through this training, Susenas field officers can work professionally and follow the applicable SOPs. Thus, the data produced can support national development policies based on accurate data, which will ultimately have an impact on improving community welfare. (~RFJ)
