April 2024 inflation Year on Year (y-on-y) Mesuji Regency is 4.06 percent

Abstract

In April 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Mesuji Regency will be 4.06 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 110.91.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in several expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 7.68 percent; clothing and footwear group at 4.82 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 1.36 percent; health group at 5.93 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 2.02 percent; education group at 0.22 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 9.68 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 3.50 percent. Furthermore, there were three groups that experienced y-on-y deflation, namely the supplies, equipment and routine household maintenance group at 1.68 percent; transportation group at 0.83 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group at 0.24 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Mesuji Regency in April 2024 are 0.53 percent and 1.57 percent respectively.
